Uninsured Motorist Coverage protects you and your family in case of an accident caused by someone else who does not have auto insurance to meet your claims. The minimum amount you can cover for is $25,000 per person. Underinsured Motorist coverage provides cover in case the person causing the accident does not have sufficient cover to meet your claims. Both are not mandatory but strongly recommended.
